Looking for reliable new swimming pool construction in Edenvale? We design and build a new swimming pool to suit your home, site and budget throughout Edenvale, including Greenstone, Sebenza, Eastleigh, Illiondale, Dowerglen and Edenglen. Edenvale’s older suburbs have many pools dating back decades, where shells and fittings are simply reaching the end of their service life.
A new pool is designed around your home, site and how you’ll actually use it, then engineered and built to last with your choice of finish. We offer AI-designed visualizations, so you can see the pool before any ground is broken.
The Edenvale swimming pool price depends on size and finish. For a 6×4 m pool, a marbelite build is R78,000 and a fibreglass build is around R85,000. The pricing section below explains what shapes those figures.
Because we work across Edenvale regularly — established homes around Greenstone and Dowerglen, many with original pools — we know what these pools need and quote accordingly.

Marbelite or fibreglass: choosing the finish for your Edenvale pool
Both finishes go onto the same concrete shell, and we are proud of both. The right choice depends on your home and the look you want.
- Marbelite: a classic, matte plaster finish. It suits natural stone and warmer, more traditional exteriors, which is common among Edenvale’s established homes.
- Fibreglass: a smoother, more consistent surface with a slight sheen. It suits cleaner, more contemporary lines.
Each finish carries a 5-year guarantee. We will talk you through both at the design stage, so the finish is chosen with your home in mind and not decided at the end.

New pool construction takes 2 to 3 weeks. Concrete curing alone takes three to five days, and the finish stage follows its own curing or drying time. Our team is big enough to start every project straight away, so you do not wait in a queue.

How the price is set
A new build is priced with one overall price, not a long list of separate charges. Smaller changes, such as a light change or a sand change, are included in that overall price.
- Size and finish: a larger pool needs more excavation, steel, concrete and finishing. Marbelite and fibreglass are priced differently, as the figures above show.
- Access and space: these decide how much of the excavation is done by hand and how much by TLB.
- Water features: weirs, cascades and spouts add plumbing and sometimes extra pump capacity. They are best priced into the build from the start.
We do not offer payment plans or financing.
Guarantees on a new pool
- 10 years on the concrete shell
- 5 years on the marbelite finish
- 5 years on the fibreglass finish
- 1 year on piping
Guarantees are honoured for normal wear and faults. They do not cover damage from natural causes such as weather, or from interference, such as someone walking on a freshly applied finish.
New Swimming Pool Construction FAQs — Edenvale
How long does it take to build a pool?
New pool construction takes 2 to 3 weeks from breaking ground to handover. It can be a little more or less depending on the size, finish and especially the weather.
Can you build on a sloped or difficult site?
Yes — we plan access and engineering around the site, including slopes and tight stands. Excavation is done by hand and/or TLB, depending on access and space.
Where do we start with a new pool?
With a site visit and a chat about budget and use. We then design, quote and build to an agreed timeline.
Do you handle approvals and safety compliance?
Yes. We build to the relevant standards and advise on the safety barrier your pool needs. We also handle council management as part of the build, so you are not left to deal with it alone. Council typically requires approved drawings and a signed indemnity form before work starts.
